About Sahu Gajak Barfi 500g

Sahu Gajak Barfi 500g is the family gifting size of our dry fruit sesame jaggery barfi — handcrafted at our family facility in Menpura, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Made by the Sahu family since 1875, this til barfi combines roasted sesame seeds with natural jaggery (gur), cow ghee, and three whole dry fruits — almonds, cashews, and pistachios — no preservatives, no liquid glucose, no artificial colour. The 500g pack is our most popular barfi size for festival gifting — generous enough to share, thoughtful enough to give. Also available at our Jaipur retail store in Mansarovar.

Taste and Texture

Each slice of Gajak Barfi 500g delivers a firm, crumbly bite — the dense, melt-on-the-tongue texture of traditional barfi with the toasty warmth of roasted sesame and the deep natural sweetness of jaggery. The almonds, cashews, and pistachios appear throughout — each piece slightly different, some with a whole almond, some with a pistachio — which is the natural mark of a handcrafted small-batch barfi. Richer and more layered in flavour than a plain sesame barfi; less dense and more aromatic than a standard dry fruit barfi without sesame.

The 500g Pack — Who Is It For?

The 500g Gajak Barfi is for families who want a generous dry fruit barfi for home sharing and for buyers who want a thoughtful festival gift that stands out from the usual mithai box. It is a popular Diwali gifting choice, a Makar Sankranti and Lohri sweet, a wedding function sweet, and a corporate gifting addition. The 500g size is large enough to feel generous and compact enough to wrap neatly as a gift. Available all year round — not just during the festival season.
