Sahu Peanut Chikki — also known as mungfali chikki, moongfali chikki, or groundnut chikki — is our full-recipe traditional peanut chikki sweet made with roasted peanuts, jaggery (gur), sugar, cow ghee, pistachio, and cardamom. The addition of ghee gives it a cleaner, smoother snap; the pistachio and cardamom add a mild aromatic finish. A firmer, more refined peanut jaggery chikki bar than a pure jaggery chikki — perfect for gifting, festive occasions, Makar Sankranti, Lohri, and everyday snacking. Prepared in small batches using traditional Rajasthani technique and process in Menpura, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan since 1875.
We make two styles of Peanut Chikki. Crispy uses peanuts, jaggery, sugar, cow ghee, pistachio, and cardamom — a smoother, slightly richer peanut chikki sweet with a clean snap and an aromatic finish. Gur Wali uses only peanuts and jaggery — the minimalist recipe with a more rustic texture and deeper, earthier jaggery flavour. Both are prepared using traditional technique; the choice comes down to whether you prefer pure jaggery simplicity or a more refined, aromatic finish.
Roasted peanuts (groundnut / mungfali), jaggery (gur), sugar, cow ghee, pistachio, cardamom. No preservatives, no artificial colours or flavours.
Contains peanuts, tree nuts (pistachio), and dairy (cow ghee). Made in a facility that also handles sesame.
Packed in a sealed airtight pack. Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture. Keep in an airtight container after opening. Net quantity: 500g. Best before 6 months from the date of packing.
Peanut Chikki Crispy is also available in 600g. For the pure Gur Wali version, see 500g and 600g Gur Wali packs.
