Sahu Gajak Biscuit 400g is a traditional Rajasthani khasta gajak made with roasted sesame seeds (til), jaggery (gur), sugar, cow ghee, and cardamom — hand-hammered into crispy, flaky, biscuit-shaped pieces. It is crunchy, vegetarian, and perfect for daily snacking, tea-time, gifting, and year-round family use.
Prepared in small batches by Sahu Gajak Bhandar in Menpura, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan using a traditional family recipe since 1875, Sahu Gajak Biscuit is made by hand-hammering roasted sesame seeds with natural jaggery and cow ghee — creating thin, airy, crispy layers with a clean snap. The 400g is our mid-size — between the trial 250g and the family 500g. Ideal for small families, regular buyers, and gifting. Also available in 250g, 500g, and 700g.
Sahu Gajak Biscuit — also known as Khasta Gajak, Til Gajak, Sesame Gajak, or Rajasthani Gajak — is a traditional sesame jaggery sweet handcrafted at our family facility in Menpura, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Made by the Sahu family since 1875, this gajak biscuit combines hand-hammered roasted sesame seeds with natural jaggery (gur) and cow ghee. No preservatives, no liquid glucose, no artificial colour. The 400g is our mid-size.
Gajak Biscuit — also called Khasta Gajak, Til Gajak, or Sesame Gajak — is made by hand-hammering roasted sesame seeds with jaggery and cow ghee into thin, crispy, flaky sheets. The hand-hammering process releases the natural oils from the sesame seeds, creating thin, airy layers with a clean, satisfying snap. Sahu Gajak Biscuit is made using this same traditional hand-hammering process in Menpura, Rajasthan since 1875.
Each piece of Sahu Gajak Biscuit 400g has a light, crispy, layered bite — thin, airy layers of toasted sesame and golden jaggery that crack cleanly and release natural sesame oils as you bite. The jaggery provides deep natural sweetness; the sesame gives warm, toasty nuttiness; the cardamom adds a gentle aromatic finish.
