Enjoy Sahu Til Revdi 400g — made with roasted sesame seeds (til), jaggery (gur), sugar, cow ghee, and cardamom — crisp, coin-shaped, bite-sized sesame jaggery revdi coins. Also known as Til Rewari, Til Revri, Jaggery Revdi, Gur Revdi, or Til Ki Rewdi — the classic Indian sesame candy in a convenient mid-size pack. Between the trial 250g and the family everyday 500g — the right amount for small families, regular buyers, and gifting. Made at our family facility in Menpura, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan since 1875. No preservatives, no liquid glucose, no artificial colours or flavours.
Sahu Til Revdi — also known as Til Rewari, Til Revri, Jaggery Revdi, Gur Revdi, Til Ki Rewdi, or Sesame Jaggery Revdi — is a traditional Rajasthani sesame sweet handcrafted at our family facility in Menpura, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Made by the Sahu family since 1875, this til gur rewari combines roasted sesame seeds with natural jaggery (gur) and cow ghee — shaped into small coin-sized crispy pieces. No preservatives, no liquid glucose, no artificial colour. The 400g pack is our mid-size — more than a trial pack, smaller than the family everyday 500g. Also available in 250g, 500g, 600g, and 750g.
Til Revdi — also called Til Rewari, Til Revri, Jaggery Revdi, Gur Revdi, Sesame Revdi, or Tilli Rewdi — is one of the oldest traditional sesame sweets in India. Made across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana during winter, it is most strongly associated with Makar Sankranti (the sesame harvest festival) and Lohri. The word revdi refers to the small, round, coin-shaped form of the sweet — distinct from flat gajak or thick chikki. Traditional Rajasthani revdi is made by coating roasted sesame seeds in a jaggery syrup and cooling them into crisp coins. Sahu Gajak Bhandar has been making Til Revdi in Menpura, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan since 1875.
Sahu Gajak Bhandar makes two styles of Revdi. Til Revdi (this product) uses natural jaggery (gur) as the sweetener — deeper, earthier, more caramel sweetness and a darker colour. Sugar Revdi uses refined sugar — lighter colour, cleaner, milder sweetness. Both are coin-shaped sesame revdi; the difference is the sweetener and the resulting colour and taste.
Each Til Revdi coin is small, crisp, and satisfying — roasted sesame seeds bound in golden jaggery with a gentle warmth of cardamom. The sesame releases its natural oils as you bite, giving a toasty, nutty depth. The jaggery provides a deep natural sweetness. A handful of til rewari with chai is one of the most classic Indian snacking moments — simple, traditional, and deeply satisfying.
The 400g Til Revdi is for small families and regular buyers who want more than the 250g trial size but don't need the full 500g family pack. Also popular for gifting — more generous than a 250g but compact enough for a festival hamper addition. Available all year round at sahugajak.com.
